Wallace County Conservation District Cost Share
The Wallace County Conservation District is offering financial support for water-saving improvements on your property beginning September 1, 2026. First come, first served until funds are expended.
How to Apply
- Complete the application form available at the Wallace County Conservation District Office
- Attach your receipt and a photo of the installed practice
- Include documentation of the water-saving feature
Program Highlights
- Cost Share: Up to 50% of actual cost or $1,000 (whichever is less)
- Improve water quantity/quality in Wallace County
- Easy application process for cost share consideration
Eligible Practices
- Water testing
- Water saving shower head
- Hose timer
- Water leak detection
- Leak detection system
- Rain barrels
- Reverse osmosis system
- Xeriscaping
- Conversion from blue grass to buffalo grass
- Installation of underground sprinkler system (residential)
- Moisture sensing device for underground sprinklers (residential)
- Drilling domestic water well
